A simple extraction: the tooth is clearly visible and the roots are straight and accessible. Moderate: the tooth sits awkwardly and needs more effort, possibly stitches. Removing an impacted tooth is the most complex: the tooth is in the bone or under the gum, and the surgeon needs access through an incision. Complexity affects both the time and the price.
