All-on-6 restores a whole arch of teeth on six implants in one jaw. The principle is the same as All-on-4, but with more supports. The surgeon places a limited number of implants and fixes a shared denture on them, rather than restoring each tooth separately. It’s used when there are no teeth left, or the remaining ones can’t be saved.

All-on-4 or All-on-6: how it’s chosen
The number of implants is set by anatomy: bone height and density, the position of the sinuses and nerve canals, and the length of the arch. When there’s enough bone, four supports are often enough. When the load is better spread out, or bone is more limited, the surgeon may suggest six. There’s no fixed rule, so the decision follows CBCT.
